I’ve been on a journey this past year, that seems to have culminated in similar thinking. More and more, I find my work feels less congruent to my identity and beliefs. What’s was professionalism is now a mask where I try to be quiet and not point out the paradoxes, the hypocrisy, the systemic dysfunction. We aren’t fixing the things, we are just piling more dysfunction on the dumpster fire. But I also see I have choices in front of me, and I am making plans.
